Technology is an integral part of the lives of nearly all children and young adults in the UK. Whether it's a mobile phone, tablet, laptop, desktop computer or games console, children and young adults are spending more time than ever before on the Internet on a daily basis - including whilst they are at school.

As technology progresses, school age children will be spend even more time online. The necessity for them to be protected whilst online, in school and at home, will grow alongside this. The current technological climate means esafety is something that all educators have to be experts in.

Staying ahead of trends and equipping themselves with internet safety knowledge means educators can work alongside parents and carers to create a secure online environment for their learners.

The online world exposes children to danger in many forms. From cyberbullying to stalking, to digital identity & credit card theft, to grooming and sexual assault. These threats and dangers are exacerbated by new and emerging technology, especially for the most vulnerable students. This training course touches on the most common forms of online risk and abuse, and provides strategies to prevent and resolve these risks.
