In 2024, it's critically important that all educators have a deep understanding of all online platforms, spaces and apps. Completing online safety training allows educators to increase their ability to keep children safe online.

These threats and dangers are exacerbated by new and emerging technology, especially for the most vulnerable students. This training course touches on the most common forms of online risk and abuse, and provides strategies to prevent and resolve these risks.
Learners will also gain insight on how to teach children and young adults the importance of staying safe online. Teaching the importance of online safety in the early years of education has a huge reductive effect on the long-term avoidance of internet harm as children learn best practices and self-protection techniques.
